I'm looking at getting a new bar. Needs to be mid range between 300-500. Tpb or rouge is out of my range. I have the volt and it's a nice bar, but for squats and bench it's a bit whippy and too different to the comp bar. Was looking at this bar. Thoughts?

I'm going for this one too. It's a cheap Eleiko DO IT.

You recon. Been eyeing it up. It's 29mm which Is same I think. Knurling looks good too. 205000 lb too the volt is only 160 odd.

Yeah priced up shipping and all to welly ($30). Pretty over the whip in my Volt with stuff over 220, need to get closer to comp specs without shelling out for metal plates.

Yeah, its a tricky one in one way i kind of want to just save up for a nice bar, maybe get an eleiko. wont have to but another  bar, ever. same as comp spec, can you use the eleikos with gym plates though? Id be saving forever so maybe i could consider the tpb if i dont rush into things and save my $$$

Yeah I think most are 50mm these days which fits nearly every "standard" plate, you can easily check this before you buy. Man looking at the site tho, you have a few options depending on your budget.

What's the difference between you know? Imagine it's only the weight rating but not like we going over 350kgs so training bar could suit?

I see some had comp knurling and some just normal or rough knurling.

Theres a pl comp and training one. Like u say training one should be fine. But for a extra 1-200 us i think you could get the comp one. Then you could charge for ur homegym!
