Squat Depth Through Different Feds

Ok so I'm always seeing on Facebook and IG people's squat videos with comments saying things like "wouldn't pass in IPF" or "not IPF depth" .  What's the deal with this?  Aren't all feds the same where the hip crease needs to below top of knee?  Are other feds to lenient on height or the IPF a bit over the top or a bit of both. Not going to bother me because I'm pretty sweet for depth generally but just curious.

Think ipf has a history of sometimes failing people who actually hit legit depth because theyre trying to be overly strict or whatever.

Other feds less so and sometimes people squatting too high get white lights for whatever reason.

Both are pretty gay really but think some of the ipf guys see a few high squats in other fed being passed and act like the standard across the board is less than theirs because person x and y in ipf squatted deeper and failed.

Some ppl in ipf basically worship ipf like its the only real powerlifting fed and wank on how natty and clean it supposedly is (because its drug tested) and hate on other feds and non tested competitors.

Just impression ive gotten. Plenty of ipf people arent like this but some are.

All feds essentially have the same rulebook on depth, except ProRaw which doesn't have a written rulebook.

Top of knee and hip crease- parallel to the ground.

The problem is the IPF have had some judges who believe you have to 'break' and go below parallel.

Most other feds tend to suffer the other way and be lenient.

The other issue is who gets the benefit of the doubt if the judge is not sure. Most other feds tend to give benefit of the doubt to the lifter, meanwhile the IPF have a select few who give reds if there is doubt. If a spotter got spooked and moved infront of a judge right at the bottom of a squat, you give a white, pretty simple.
