What do you use instead of tourniquet to cut off circulation?

as I said it's purely lack of oxygen and blood to an area. In domestic violence incidents you'll see babies that have been strangled and their whole heads will go blue. They have no muscle there or anywhere so it means nothing except no oxygen/blood flow to an area. Whether that results in muscle growth. Well havnt looked at the studies but I know to work at full capacity muscles need blood flow and oxygen. Lots of studies are mis interpreted too. There is a study recently by the Australian institute of sport which tested stength gain with various range of motions on a leg extension. The conclusion was no more strength would be gained from doing full rom or half rom. That's fine. but I had a physio try telling me that for back squats referencing that research. Derp.

Having trained Pseudonym (and trained with him) on numerous occasions I can say that he would not experience the visual side effects during this type of training as he lacks the muscle mass needed to do so.

Ouch! You know how to wound a man deeply, HP! But again, this begs the question: if we already know I won't see the same effects as Rebel, what are we trying to prove? Still, I'm happy to train sometime and find out...

I'm just a bit worried about this statement:

I use this training technique during periods where rapid hypertrophy is the main goal.

After all, I don't want to get too big. :-p
