BLOOD tests, What to get

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys still doing research etc,

Out the interest of research and understanding I thought I would get some blood tests done.

What's available where I am is at http://www.apath.co.nz/patient-self-requested-testing-information

Can some one advise me of the difference bewteen the CBC, INF and Ferritin Haematology reports.

I though I would also get my lipids tested, anything else?

Thanks in advance.

Aotea path testosterone panel was utter crap, until recently when there was a switch of owner/operator...for the same price, the same male testosterone blood panel gets you SHBG and free test as well as your total.

Female panel would be ideal, but I havnet looked into if this would require doctor request to get done or not.

And yeah, def get lipid panel too.

Personally I think the more you can get tested the better,

The majority of people don't get a blood test done, prior to starting gear and it can really help quantitate problems people have when they finish.

I would go accross the board endocrine, lipid liver and kidney.

It's not cheap but when you come off and your mind/gains turn to chaos it's good to have a bench mark, where you should be at.

First Post :)

I have been on Test E for about 13 weeks at this point and recently had bloods done including LH, FSH, Prolactin, Estrogen, Liver enzymes, Cholesterol panel, Total T, Free T (This one is a bitch to get done as most GP's won't do it, luckily my GP is awesome and knows I use gear), T3, TSH, and a few other tests that I can't remember.

100% agree with the above, although I prefer blast and cruise methodology.

Also, most of the above come under "general" blood parameters so won't cost anything additional. Things like DHEAS are very expensive however so only do these if instructed.
