Nutrition plan for 5*5 stronglifts

OK

So my main goal is fat loss. Upon advice I reckon 5*5 would be a great program to incorporate into it. What I always struggle with is nutrition side of it. I work 3 days 3 nights 3 off. Driving. Can get the training in easy but feel that eating always ends up a bit weird or off track. Anyone have suggestions? I'm 95kg wanna get to 80kg. I'm about 33% fat. Obviously wanna decrease that to as low as possible. I plan on doing some cycling as well as cardio, how much I'm open to suggestions on. Basically how many cals? What foods? It's gotta be easy and quick you know the deal. I have a shake that I use post training and I usually add oats peanut butter and blueberries. I track food with my fitness pal. If anyone wants to pm instead that's cool. Apologies about the lack of paragraphs, for some reason either Firefox for Android doesn't like the forum or something else. Thanks in advance. Ps treat me like I know f*ck all. ?

While that muscle fuel idea looks good, I'd say cause I have a young family and I don't have nil time I I have a wee bit. I'd probably prefer to cook my own, but it is a great suggestion and thanks didn't even realise it existed. As far as macros go, I think I should be about p200 c150-180 f55-80

. Did this for about six - eight weeks last year in November December, didn't see any weight loss or gain. Definitely put some muscle on especially In legs from squats. Im 174cm and at the moment 98kg (was down to 93 but Xmas and holidays, sigh). How many cals should I go for? Are macros right? What results should I expect? Maccaz not trying to jump over you or anything just interested in various views. Do appreciate you have done exactly what I want to do and your input is second to none

Here's what muscle fuel said. What do you guys think?

I would say your calories are on the lower side for the strength training you are doing and your current bodyweight.  A successful cut is an evolving thing where you will need to adjust your calories the leaner you get.  I would start your cut closer to 2700 calories and then adjust from there.

220P/320C/60F would be a good split (you can adjust to suit)

I prefer to eat larger meals less often as well, so rather than 6 smaller meals I have 4 large ones.  To make meals that would suit you should check out the custom meal builder here: http://musclefuel.co.nz/build-your-own-meal/

This App has a built in macro calculator so you can figure out what meals will work best and choose your favourite ingredients and portion to suit.

Let me know if you are right from here or require further assistance

Happy to help you construct the actual meals if you need me too.

agree with this.

you are on the right track but stop bloody worrying about all these fine points and just start doing it. start tracking your food. you've wasted a week majoring in the minors already.

stop going on and on and asking for all these different opinions, at this point in time anything you do is going to work. eat a slight deficit. train. thats it. don't need to consult multiple scientists and 600 different opinions.

you have the right idea as well i know that for sure, just stop talking about it and do it. come back in 4 weeks and let us know how you are going.
