Thank you ...... Yes we do....

*Jealous* Very cool.

I keep putting notes in our gym suggestion box that a GHR machine would be awesome (each with different handwriting of course ) but have yet to hear (or see) anything yet

Get them to trade a not much used piece of equipment ie Smith Machine, Pec Deck, Incline Bench, for a GHR

I can give you reasons what PLs do with these machines

Probably won't go down well, but will get some chatter going on.

Hey, thats not a bad idea! There's 4 pec dec machines at the gym (!) no.gif

Thats a great article... I like Cressey's stuff. The lateral duck-unders did wonders when my hip flexors were acting up

My considered opinion on Smith machines is that they are easily broken and therefore dangerous to Powerlifters.

Being an expert finder of weakness in any exercise equipment i find them to be extremely dangerous (having personal experience in one almost falling over with me squatting with it) to stabillity during squats as the bar moves through a single axis and there is no building off strength in the core and that you must rely on the manufacturer being compiten and the materials being capable of withstanding large forces .

Lastly it is a machine for the masses as in the NAME.
