Fasted cardio - to do or not to do?

What is your typical cardio for a bodybuilder/powerlifter?

I assume they dont run.

There is no "typical" cardio it is always destined to be specific to the individuals needs, ability, and focus.

Some like Jo Stewart run amongst other forms of cardio.

Essentially any form of cardio can be used.

Personally l alternate between cycling, x training, stepping, and treadmill to avoid over use injuries. And perform it 6 day per week.

I typically apply interval training principles applying higher intensity for 1 min up to 80% max heart rate followed by 2 min at 60% max heart rate. I usually perform cardio for 30 mins per day.

Longer if weight loss needs demand.

But this is just my cardio program.

Is it cause you support fasting Pseudo :P

I had skipped breakfast, and was just getting hangry.

The way I see it... Fasted cardio, as Realtalk says, is surely not going to be tremendously catabolic - not the type of cardio most of us bodybuilders/powerlifters do, where cardio is the secondary focus to the "real" training. So you've got something that has no significant downside, and a possible upside. If it doesn't inconvenience you too much, why wouldn't you do it?

I know that's not going to satisfy scientice-lovers like Jimmybro (I don't mean that negatively - just that some people like the theory as much as the answer itself) but I think it's a practical answer, if not a theoretical one.

I don't know  Harry I think we are going to have to agree to disagree.

Don't say that. I've just created a brand new topic specifically so you can keep disagreeing!

Do You actually ride a cycle ride a bike? or just pretend to?

FYI

I am typically a road cyclist and have a past history of sprint training.

So l am experienced in and use technique atm for road cycling.

When at home l ride my road bike when in the gym l use the x ridea bikes. Amy thing else is unusable as the seat structure is physiologically unhealthy.
