Problem with uneven size

Wow this site is still going............

Its been many years from my last post!

Ive been having some problems with unevenness and i though where would i go to get some good info and i found myself back on here.

Alrighty so here's the problem I'm left handed so I expect that my left arm would be slightly bigger however my strength and endurance is far better on my right so even if i do a heap of single arm lifts i don't seem to be changing it much.. thoughts??

Again with unevenness.. quads. Left quad is about 4cm smaller then my right, its not as strong as my right either so i have been doing heaps of one legged exercises to build on this however my hubby said to me the other night that my hip bones are higher on the left and that my glut is smaller on the left. Ive seen an osteopath and got adjusted, and i now have a heap of stretches to do however when she did some muscle firing test, my left side didnt fire as well through the posterior chain or through my quads as well as my right did.

Anyone out there have abit more knowledge on this kind of stuff and have any ideas on how i can build up my lower left side.

Cheers Jenna

Hey Jenna, welcome back!

As it happens, one of our members now is an osteopath, so I'm hoping he drops in an shares his thoughts.

For my part, all I could suggest is stuff like one-legged press - but you're doing that already. Are you consciously trying to use the same position and feel the exercise in the same muscles on both sides? For example, I know when I do leg press, I can focus on pushing with the quads, or focus on pushing with the glutes. I presume you're already very conscious of how you're pushing?
