Why don't you look at the real world evidence you parading activist.

I have never seen a vegetarian/vegan go into their 80s/90s. They are normally too frail. My grandparents ate meat, milk, and most things your crying about. There was no cancer, and they both went well into their 80s

Humans are designed to eat meat and have always eaten meat from the start.

Being vegan is just trendy like the people who choose not to vote, believe in chem trails and think vaccines cause autism... usually weak smelly malnourished looking cunts and females with hairy arm pits.

These type of people fill me with rage

Thats FANTASTIC that they both lived well into their 80s! I never knew you do a study with some ones grandperants to provide evidence for a claim and to show causality. Learning something everyday.

Not everything you have stated are FACT.

Animal products are not bad for your health per se. Whilst vegans have a lower CVD risk, they often have compromised bone mineral density and are thinner. There are numerous inadequacies of a vegan diet including Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Vit D, Vit B12 and Omega 3. Animal products are simply vastly superior sources of these.

Eggs are not equivalent to 5 cigarettes, this is absurd. Did you even read a study? Did you critique the evidence? No, you read an internet headline and determined it to be fact.

The study which you are referring to (Spence et al: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0021915012005047)implies that eating more eggs results in narrowing of the carotid artery. This is bad.

However, the major flaw in this study is that triglycerides, HDL and LDL are unchanged across test groups. It is assumed that these contributing factors lead to atherosclerosis and without a causal link you have nothing but a correlation.

The number one thing you need to know in science is that correlation does not imply causation - meaning that this single study means nothing.

So... I'm going to keep eating eggs every damn day.

Having said that, Animal products, mainly red meat, are terrible for the planet. And I restrict red meat to 2-3x per week. It is actually better for the planet if one were to stop eating beef than to stop driving their car.

Do you drive an electric car? Do you use plastic? Do you eat organic? Organic food is actually bad for the planet too...

Oh this thread is gonna be fun.

How do you think half these studies are founded bro, centre for science in public interest has been doing this shot for years, coming up with wack studies and b.s. I'm pretty sure they promote eating margarine still lol

Pretty sure WHO is the same with this latest study against meat.

How bout they do a study on how much of a shit food soy is, vegan gains has no gains and can eat a dick with Durant and the banana girl

This is also an incorrect statement. There is no 'latest study', the only thing that happened recently is that WHO just put out a recommendation. The studies have been around for years. The largest study on this topic is performed by the Harvard school of public health and encompasses over 800 clinical studies and is essentially irrefutable evidence that processed/red meat increases your risk of cancer. Why is this finding wack? Because you don't agree with the result? This is some of the strongest evidence of its kind.

You can deny the evidence like smokers did in the 70s or you can accept it and do it anyway like smokers do now.

Anyway... There are plenty of studies on how shit soy is :)

A vegan/vegeterian diet can be absolutely shit with deficiency's, yes, containing chippies coke and lollies.  Thats why you eat a whole plant based diet and supplement with b12.

Just to point out a few

Calcium is better abosbed with plants.

Walnuts contain omega 3. So do flaxseed. Better to eat those then eat the baggage of fish, which contains saturated fat, cholesterol, lack of fiber, and phytochemicals and is linked to birth defects etc.

Vit D, heard of the sun?

We should be doing everything possible to reduce the destruction of the planet. That means going vegan>meat

Just because some one uses plastic doesn't give them the logic to be like "well because I use plastic then I should go full retard and pollute the sea etc."

Nice misleading pic. But can you explain why Chimpanzees, our closest evolutionary relative, are omnivorous?

No, I cant explain neither have I researched.

Regardless of the argreement "we were designed to eat meat" why the f*ck would you do something if it was bad for your health.

I thought you were trolling at first,

None of your posts have had any real context, just crap based on opinions and bias research held by a minority (I'm assuming this) of people in fitness community. If you search long enough you'll find studies, opinions etc etc showing what you want to see. It's all just smoke and mirrors to a degree

Animal products can be beneficial for health - FACT!!!

(note I didn't say 'are' I said 'can')

Claims like you're making is like saying there is only 1 way to get bigger, faster or stronger. Anyone with half a brain knows these things can be achieved in 1000's of different ways.

Here's a fact for you

Drinking 6L of water in one sitting has a 50% chance of killing you

Does this mean water is bad for your health? No, absolutely not but in the wrong context can be harmful/bad for your health.

Exactly... Being vegan means your diet is insufficient. Any diet that is insufficient can't be optimal. Meaning that a vegan diet can be considered bad for your health.

A Plant based diet contains all the nutrients the human body needs, minus the negatives of animal products and lack of phytochemicals and fibre from meat.

You do need to supplement with b12.

Gains

Why does eating meat magically produce more """""""gains"""""""""""""  comapared to a whole plant based diet?

I dont think your body gives a f*ck if the PROTEIN comes from an animal or plant

Im gaining though, cause I'm putting less destruction onto the planet, don't have to kill innocent animals, put them through unnatural living conditions, force cows to produce my milk or hens to lay eggs. Plus girls are attracted to my critical thinking skills.

Cows like their nipples sucked and hens like to lay eggs

Nup get the doctor to inject me or get from a health store.

B12 is naturally made from bacteria btw so Im not using them(the animals).

Plant foods have no vitamin B12 unless they are fortified. You can get recommended amounts of vitamin B12 by eating a variety of foods including the following: Beef liver and clams, which are the best sources ofvitamin B12. Fish, meat, poultry, eggs, milk, and other dairy products, which also contain vitamin B12.

thats just what google says. dont quote me on that

Yup, plant foods have inactive B12 which the body cant use. Agreed. So need to supplement, pretty easy to in 2015.
