My gym has that exact same bench press. It's a competition replica. But No one would actually use it in a competition. We have already replaced the rack arms (where bar sits and gets racked into) cause they cheap, light and wobbly as so when you rack bar into it they will bounce the bar back out of its a hard rack. We replaced with with big strong iron racks. The bench isn't dead flat almost as if it's been compressed by someone/something then not come back to shape the bench itself isn't good quality but you could always modify that too. Other than that yeah it's nice and low and has face savers And is still better than your average bench press! Maybe we are too hard on stuff I dunno.

We have that powercage at our gym though and that is really good.

looks like the kind of place that would take feedback on board and adjust design to improve, not so much mass produced, be worth telling them.

It's not made here. what made you think that? It's just imported gear probably from China. I used it last night in the gym, that's how I know. The power cage is execellent, I'd buy one for myself. I just wouldn't buy the bench that's all. Just constructive opinion cause I use it when i train. Still better than most benches in gym though. Was mainly commenting for skelator cause he said he might buy one.

those bumper plates are priced pretty well compared to no1fitness

They are pretty awesome. Nothing against the plastic coated iron plates I had from no1 but just needed something to soak up the noise a bit better. was keeping the neighbours up with my 9pm deadlifts in the garage (nt srs, too weak).

They are 45mm so should be able to get 5 maybe 6 pps any standard bar which is ideal.

The IA bumpers max out a bar @ 220kegs using just reds. THAT's thick.

whoa, i have these as well same generic stuff from china got from someone off TM for slightly less i guess he got it from there.. looks to me like they'll go up to 280 or so with the set that i have before maxing out an oly bar, not bad for cheap bumpers
