Hi all I'm James and very new to forums and should have really started here before else where... My main goal is to mainly build up some mass... but as I seem to burn off food very quickly and get hungry quickly I seem to not be able to put on much mass. Like my body isnt progressing but going backwards if that makes sense? Does or has anybody ever been through this and what can I do? Thanks

I can only make 1 more post. In a usual day, I eat 2 boiled eggs and toast I know toast isnt the best... Porridge oats in the morning. Afternoon will just be sandwiches with maybe a chicken filling or some other filling.. and then dinner times vary from baked potatoes to fish meals..

^ This. Although you also need to look at the protein/carbs/fat content of what you're eating - it's not just a case of eating more of it.

The best advice I can give is to use an app like MyFitnessPal, and enter everything you eat for a few days, then look at the numbers it gives you.

My guess is that you will need to increase the protein much more than you need to increase the carbs. (That's pretty normal - most people's diets are proportionately carb-heavy anyway)

Thanks guys for the input.. I get that app and see what it tells me. Seems mainly protein is the way forward and carbs aren't really all they are cracked up to be!
