Lol what? Go do athletic with nabba (i think) then if you wana compete against skinny fgts.

No need to be like that, mate.

Ā

My point is just that anyone who gets on stage here at 6'0 and a shredded 105kg would be considered plenty big enough for the ordinary bodybuilding class, let alone the new Classic variety. If the weight limit is not particularly limiting, why have it at all?

It seems like the biggest difference between the two classes is in the type of pants the guys wear. :P

Yeah i agree it seems stupid to have it.

Im guessing its just to give competitors the idea of what theyre after...that its not for the big guys that would do well in normal bb classes.

Everyone wants to be a champion, everyone wants to be an overall mr NZ, everyone wants to be a pro... Let's make more classes to make more champions. Let's dilute the competition even more to make it easier for people.

Why do you think there are so many PLing federations world wide. Everyone wants to be a champion.

This guy ^ may as well wear undies instead of hot pants and compete with everyone else. People talking about record numbers of competitors at bodybuilding comps these days. But there are more classes, so essentially the actual competition (which is what a competition is all about?) is very similar to when they had smaller overall numbers of entries.

Hey, it's good for the pockets though I guess and that's all that matters eh...
