Growing Size??

HI Guys

Very new to this site and found a few good reads. I would like to know what the average time a person who weighs in at 86kg and has about 10% BF who eats healthy and drink a protein shake a day would take to do a first body show?

Growing naturally is very hard and costly as you have to keep consuming plenty food. I have given a lot of thought and would like to try Anavar just to help me with the strength to push more and grow slowly. Haven't come across to get any yet so doing this naturally for now. Whats your thought on anavar?

When gyming i try and push hard and keep focus.

Any tips out there to help with the growing process and good meals to consume.

Cheers.

If you are interested to do a show you should look at entering one towards end of this year or early next, either physique (boardshorts/height) or bodybuilding category (weight). If your numbers are on point you would get on stage around mid 70s looking awesome! Equally you might find its not for you. It would give you a good insight into how you want to progress with building your body and what supplements (natural or not) you might look at. Anavar is a waste of time imo, but i have read decent articles countering that.

Hi Freak.

Growing naturally is very hard and costly as you have to keep consuming plenty food.

If you're doing this to save money, using steroids is not the answer! You'll have to eat just as much food and more if you want the drugs to have any effect.

Unfortunately, no matter what drugs you take, it still comes back to eating enough food - and making sure it's the right food. Maybe tell us what you eat on an average day?

My profile pic is a pic of me.

I have a Protein shake, 5 egg white and a banana for breakfast.

Basmati rice and lean mince with capsaicin about 11 am

1:30pm i have chicken breast or tuna with pumpkin and veg

supper i have another protein shake with Chicken/fish/lean mince.

I'm currently taking CLA soft gel and Creatine capsules.

Do you guys think this is sufficient?

Thanks for the replys.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you're guna get shot down in flames claiming that as 10% lol. Wouldn't even be close.

Food wise you're eating sweet f*ck all and I somehow doubt that that is how you eat everyday, or else your metabolism is slow as hell from not getting fed enough.

Train harder, eat more and you'll grow.

Don't bother with any kind of drugs, you won't get far without everything else on track, the risk vs reward will not be in your favour.

Looks more like '14%' br0. Id agree with BeastBuilder that no point taking drugs. If i saw you at a pool/beach i wouldn't assume that you lifted from your physique. You can do way better without drugs. Im 184cm and i got to 95kg at what id say would be legit 10% bf before i took any shit. Stats not heaps relevant but everyone could tell i lifted. I payed lots of attention to what i ate though and trained a lot harder than i do now. You need to train harder and smarter and eat properly.

Hmm. I don't think your profile pic completely does you justice - it's cropped off your shoulders and arms, which show you DO train (here's the original, guys). But as the others say, you're a bit above 10%. ;-)

The advice you've been given - train harder, eat more/better - is absolutely right, but we probably need to be more specific to be of any use to you.

So here are some specific suggestions...

Find a proper training routine - one that prescribes what weight you should be using - and follow that. There's a heap of different ones out there. I'm using 5/3/1 (Google it if you need to) and really liking it. It's a basic powerlifting style of training, but there's enough leeway in the "assistance work" to satisfy my bodybuilding side.

Download the MyFitnessPal app, and track your food for a week. Then tell us what your average macros are. From what you've just posted, it looks to me like your diet could be lacking carbs and fat. Protein is important, but you need more than that.

Start a journal here, and you'll get people regularly chipping in to give advice as you go.

Depends on how much you drink.

If you're serious about training which you tried to make it seem like you were by mentioning you first "body show" then you shouldnt even be drinking moderately. Actual stage ready bodybuilding of any level will mean you're going to sacrifice the other shit people in your life do. If you want to do both then maybe just stick to gym as a hobby and forget bodybuilding shows.

Just my 2 cents take it how ya want to.

The odd night here or there isn't a big deal but definitely something to be moderate about.

Eat more keep training and allow yourself to grow. Half of it is mindset that rest is food and training. Anavar will give you some gains but you won't maintain them and you have plenty of room to grow imo.

Chances are you'll just take them to see what happens anyway :)
