mentally deficient "fitness professionals"

This is just a general thread to rant (I know others will be keen) on some of the stupid shit we come across daily.

just noticing worse and worse examples of this in social media and am just mind blown at the thought process these people are(nt) capable of

1.I keep seeing average level "athletes" that continually hate on other average level "athletes" for not being as good as them, when in actual fact they themselves are not particularly successful in their sport (usually bbing)

2. Sometimes they post new breakthrough nutrition/training ideas and present it as fact eg "you can eat x calories on tuesday and if its 5x your maintenance thats okay, just dont eat for 5 days" - weekly net calories will fix it. exageration but this is the idea

3. post "tell-all" behind the scenes about bbing being corrupt, the moment they don't place (disregard the fact they didnt look like they should have won)

4. rip into each other for not being humble, or not as humble as themselves, etc

5. go to fitness expo to promote themself and post pictures of themself, disregard the fact they are there to promote a product, the ego level is just fucked, generation of troubled young people

6. athletes that present themself as a aspiring or future competitor. surely itd be best to just work hard and focus for some period of time, rather than training for the sole goal of competing?

Not real keen on targeting any person in particular, but I came across this person, an average level amateur competitor. posts a thing on instagram just hating on other people (funnily enough described herself 100% in the hate)

So I call her out, like lol aren't you describing yourself, etc etc, and nek minnit:

Haha it's a fight not worth fighting bro.

Let me guess all her fan club started chewing you up for that comment?

The good old keyboard warrior post, it's pretty popular response.

Don't follow these people,1 follow = +1 to ego. Most people follow just to get soft porn anywho (massive Indian fan base I'm guessing, jks ) they would give zero fucks about her thoughts etc.

haha nah you're right bro, waste of energy.

what i find pretty interesting is the higher level/quality competitior/athlete/whatever you wanna call them, the less likely they will be posting wank off shit like this on the daily.

its only the duds that have to whore themselves out on the internet day in day out it seems!

Powerlifters posting their training routines.. lift about the same as my 5 year old daughter :)

People who post pics of themselves basically naked on a daily basis for likes. Just run a porn site at least get paid for it.

Jerk offs who post about healthy living and clean lifestyle.. when actually drug addled party fuckwits. (Please practise what you preach or preach what you actually practise :) )

I'm surprised you all haven't cottoned on yet to the fact that I don't talk about myself, never post motivational quotes and haven't called anyone a hater (yet) .... It follows that I'm the biggest dude here and I lift the most.

(Srsly. I ducken hate fitness 'athletes'. It's like the local club tennis player saying how good they are when everyone else is watching Wimbledon- Serena would smash your arse!)

Why would you care about what other people are eating?

Because I love to eat and try new things and seeing how Americans and Canadians etc eat gives me ideas to try. I follow pages directly related to food as well as powerlifters both elite and just starting out.Different people into different things bro. What one man loves another hates. People probably think why would I share every workout I do. Again because it's what I love and I can look back on to see how ive grown in speed and strength. Can't do that in a written journal.IG is for sharing what you love but like Maccaz says it's when you are belittLing others not as good as you or giving false diet advice as fact etc. Pushing a product you don't truly believe in because you're sponsored by it is one I don't believe in.
