Hey guys,

As you would know if you follow my training on this forum, in September I'm going to Las Vegas to compete at the GPC powerlifting world championship. One of the things im doing is running a raffle. The raffle costs $10 per ticket, and you can buy as many tickets as you like. I'm going to announce the raffle on the 1st of August 2015 via FB and got a few people with big followings that are going to get behind it and help put it out there.

The money will be deposited or transferred into a NZ bank account and you pm me on here of FB and give me the reference and the details you want on each ticket. You might be buying 4 tickets, 2 are for you and 2 are for your flat mate so that's what the message you will send me is going to tell me. Make sure you reference the deposit also. From there a ticket with your name and number on it will be put into a bucket

The raffle will be drawn on the 15th August 2015 at global gym mount Maunganui at the end of the GPC bop 3 lift competition held there on that day. By somebody who hadn't bought a ticket. After the draw the bucket will be open for anyone who wants to go through the names... Basically there isn't a more legitimate way it could be done. I'm saying this because I know there are a lot of fake competitions and rigged competitions on FB for supplements done by NZ shops.

Free shipping to the winner anywhere in NZ. I'm happy to open it up sooner to you forum members if you want to support me and buy a ticket or 3 but otherwise it's gonna be open on August 1st to everyone. Thanks for your guys support with my training journal and giving me a no BS place to log it.

The raffle contains:

Here is photo of the stuff I have so far minus the fitwear voucher which is obviously invisible cause it'll be an online code but Simon Phillips who is in charge at fitwear has contributed that so I'll be chatting to him on the weekend.

Will definitely buy a few tickets bro. At least then I know the money is going straight to the cause it's supposed to be for, unlike those fucking charity raffles that only give like 5% to the actual cause (Dam hippys lol)

Sup guys I'm just gonna post what I posted on Facebook below in regards to this but I'm kicking it off now...

Hey guys as some of you know on sept 16th I'm competing at the GPC Powerlifting world championships in Las Vegas, USA. A few great people and businesses have contributed to this raffle by giving me product to raffle off. The prize is pictured above and also includes a $250 FITWEAR VOUCHER. It's well over $700 worth of prize. Firstly I just want to thank Paul Mcmah from Mass Nutrition, Simon Phillips and Fitwear, Daniel Rudolph from kiwistrength and proloc collars and Dhiren and Balance nutrition for supporting my trip by way of their contributions.

How it's going to work - It's $10 per ticket and you can buy as many tickets as you like. Payment is either cash to me or bank deposit, details which I'll give below. Please put your name as a reference with your deposit/transfer and message me on Facebook (or gymnation) with your name and phone number after you have deposited/transferred so I don't miss you out. I'll then put your name and number on a ticket and it'll go onto the draw. The winner will be drawn on the afternoon of August 15th at the GPC BOP powerlifting competition being held at global gym in mount maunganui in front of everybody at the competition prize giving. Winner will be posted on Facebook and notified that day.

A few people from forum already got behind this which I really appreciate. Doesn't matter if you buy 1 ticket or 10 tickets it's all support and helping me out. That's one of the downsides to living in NZ is that we are so far away from stuff like this so it does get exoensive to go do these comps. I hope more people get behind this raffle. I went to a lot of effort ringing and emailing people and businesses asking for a contribution for this cause. I could have just started a "give a little" page and people could donate without getting anything back. But I don't think that's really the right way to do it. So I went to the effort of getting together what I think is a really good prize just so it wasn't all one way traffic. On the 15th one of you guys/girls who have supported me by buying a ticket will win it and that'll be awesome for that person.

Fitwear dropped their whole new range yesterday too, so the $250 voucher from them (which isn't a physical prize it'll just be an Internet code) is perfect for the winner too. Tbh I wasn't really a fan of their old stuff but I had a look at their new stuff and I would wear some of that I actually think it's pretty cool.

Sweet guys just private message me after you have deposited with your name and phone number or if you don't want give phone number and name lol then I'll write your gymnation name and I'll pm you back if you win but that will look abit suspect when I draw it and say in front of the powerlifting comp "the winner is tyre guy" Lmao..

This is getting drawn on Saturday guys do if you havnt already then get behind it if you want to support me in my comp. Iv sold 102 tickets now which is really good. 100 was the minimum I wanted to sell to call this a success so I done that and thank everyone who had bought a ticket so far you guys are GCs and I wish you all good luck for the draw on Saturday. I'll probably just film the draw and chuck it up on here that might be cool.
