Auckland Mens clinic doctor gets Charged

Recommended Posts

Having met Glenn socially through a friend who was a patient I think what's been published only shows half the story. As published he did prescribe unusual amounts of ephedrine, but then he specialised in treating older males for hormone replacement therapy. Along with that comes legitimate scripts for things like cialis / viagra. What many don't realize is that old fellas often can't get it down once these medications get it up! Guess what decreases blood flow to the penis...yup stimulants like ephedrine. Bit of balance there so people don't think Glenn held up the Auckland P - making scene.

My friend had to do tests to be eligible for Testosterone replacement therapy as well as anti estrogen. (I'm assuming these were standard blood tests that an endocrinologist would do). He seemed to think Glenn was 100% legit though very progressive in his thinking.

Either way seems a shame a Dr can't prescribe to males what half the over 50 females get prescribed (gender specific of course) by default by any GP.

Once I'm a bit older I'd like the option that many older males outside of NZ already have.

Just to add I doubt many of his clients were bodybuilders, most I know can't afford an $80 bag of protein without waiting til payday! At $200 odd dollars for a 10ml 100mg/ml bottle of pharma cypionate guys would much more likely go see an UG dealer to pay less than a fifth that price for test.....

Be interested to hear views from anyone who actually was a client here?

I'm sure his patients knew what they were after, but I'd be very surprised if many knew how to use them properly.

In my experience here, 99% of the time when someone decides to hit the juice, their biggest concern is where to get it - how to use it comes a very distant second. :P

Then wouldn't it make sense to have more doctors like this around? I'm sure someone deciding to hit the juice would love to be doing so under medical supervision with proper instructional use.

I wonder infact if he was, as a specialist, much more knowledgable on the compounds than your average gp who prescribes shots of sust250 once every two weeks...

If a 45 year person who has been taking TRT dosages for 5 years at 250mg E5D, decides to see a GP to explain that he would like a legit prescription and use TRT for life what would a GP do?

Why would it take you 5 years to do that?

thats just like me walking into a gp tommoroe and wanting to get on the methadone program and pick up my methadone everyday from the pharmacy. I could tell him "iv been using methadone iv got my hands on off the black market for 5 years. But now I want to do it the legal way". He not just going to write me out a script willy nilly. So why should it be the same for this 45 year old guy and his demand for a script...

There a processes to go through in nz. If you want to self prescribe because you think you know better go to Thailand.

There are no excuses for this doctor. I'm sorry but personal references you guys have gotten off friends about him don't mean shit... This was an investigation. Investigations find evidence and they are accurate 9/10 times. You can't argue an investigation with a reference lol

And as for the pseudoephedrine... It doesn't matter it's a controlled drug, a very well controlled drug. There are people who are employed whose job is medicine-control. All they do is go through prescriptions where controlled drugs are dispensed and they check them over, all this shit woulda flashed red alert on their computers. So that's why he changing info and notes. That's bullshit bro re Viagra lol people get dispensed Viagra all the time never heard if psuedo getting prescribed with it.

This guys fucked. Very silly man.

So now we have a bunch of legit men being treated for low test who have just been cut off abruptly.Average guys who thought they were going through legit channels to be treated.

Who looks after them when they now have to come off? These guys will have no idea what to do now.Hope MEDSAFE have provided some help to these guys or they are very irresponsible.I think not even though they try and tell us they are trying to keep us safe.

Just out to make a bust to justify their funding I guess.

  • Looks like medsafe is slowly but surely cleaning them up..

There was another  quack called Dr Rosie Horrocks who was prentending to be a mens health clinic working out of Parnell. She charged me some ungodly figure for testosterone lozengers.

They way she prescribed it I thought I could take them like lollies..  I thought I could just stop and strat when I wanted to,  with out any pct. Which is what I was doing.

When I did  cardio while sucking on them, they used to make me cough and get all chesty. Cough would last for days. I went to an endo who ordered a blood test. From memory my test levels were 90 nmol/L  The endo nearly had a fit lol

Last I heard she got shut down by medsafe.. Bloody good job. She was clueless and didn't give a toss how she was prescribing.

The whole point of going to a doctor is so its done properly..

There was one other I went to see.. Cant remember his name now..

What struck me as bizzare was when the appointment time came he asked me to meet at his home instead of his office..

When I got there he had a mate with him who was obviously a bodybuilder but looked al fucked up. Hard to explain, but not overly healthy looking.. Anyway, he offered me gear, but believe it or not, and as bizzare as this sounds he offered not only testosterone but estrogen.. He said I needed that as well.. As soon as I heard that I thought this guys clueless so I walked. I heard he got busted and lost his license to practice.  Wish I could remember his name..

So they are out there. Its good medsafe is cleaning them up.
