Advice/tips

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.. looking for tips, articles, books, anything... I posted in the introduction section without much luck... just wanna get big as f*ck, Im already pretty big, not big enough IMO..

things I want advice on...

-atm I train almost everything doing things like... shoulders calves, chest tris, legs, back bis, arms, back etc etc... what sorts of splits should I do?

-I train a lot so I try to eat everyday all day.. can be hard without much time though, ideas on meals with a lot of calories yet trying to stay healthy, brands of peanut butter etc :P

-supplements, I found black chrome by cellucor to be AMAZING for getting a mad swole pump on, test boosters do nothing for me really, still need a decent creatine too, I havent dont a cycle of anything in a number of months, would be keen to do something again.. I just get whatever mass gainer whey is on special/clearance

-training partners/advisors in hamilton, Id really appreciate some time to talk with someone who knows a bit more then me, only so much a youtube education can get you.. tired of being the guy in my group that knows the most (although I think I know f*ck all..)

again im a pretty big guy, not too fussed on fat loss etc, just want size at this stage... 6'1 104ish kgs, around 20%bf

much appreciated guys

Reading between the lines... When you say "you train almost everything" it sounds like you possibly don't have a set workout routine?

Apart from diet, that's probably the biggest thing. Get a basic routine (doesn't have to be fancy or insanely hard) and write stuff down. Then you can make sure you're progressing each time.

In fact, start a workout journal. Then people can see what you're doing and offer advice.

It sounds possible that you're doing lots of isolation exercises.  Might need more compound lifts and less of that.

Calorie intake?

People are often miles out with their bf% estimate.  Pics?

Like Realtalk said, start a journal

ahhh yeah that makes sense, I have never really kept track of anything I do, or keep track of my calories, just eat a lot and try to eat often..

Ok so how would I put more compund exercises into my training? like what would you suggest?
