Hi All, a work friend of mine googled my name and it came up being mentioned on an old gymnation thread - so thought I'd better join to see what the fuss was about. I've just returned to NZ after 15 years overseas - great to see NZ BB is as popular as ever!

Can someone tell a good  BB friendly gym to join in Christchurch?

Dave was awesome. Huge and would get shredded with a tiny waist. We did our first show together I was up to like his shoulder and pretty sure his quad was about the same size as my whole body.

I was a young kid who just joined the gym and remember seeing Phily Nuku and thought he was big and ripped. Then saw Dave, made Phily look like mini me. Dude was and probably still is massive

Probably had some of the freakiest gigantic cross striated to hell and back legs I've ever seen. Can't believe he managed to have that much muscle without pre post and intra workout shakes ha ha ha

I competed against Dave and his training partner Paul way back in the day. Good times.

Don't know if you have sorted a gym yet but Fitness Canterbury has always been very pro bodybuilders and have a fair few that compete out of there including the Orton brothers...
