How much protein do you eat?

Iv always aimed for 200gm because easy round number and 800cal so easy to do whole day macros in my head

I dont always log everything but i can generally guesstimate close to 200gm easily as i know roughly how many gm protein in x weight of food just from memory

My protein allowance atm is about 320 spread across 7 meals.

Aylmer dictates the macros l just have to eat as required but generally determined on workload and required outcome.

Atm l am trying to build muscle mass so extra protein

I try to get a min of 150gm but usually closer to 200. About 1/3 days I go over 200.

Based on body weight: 2x kgs

same what maccaz said

Idk how the fk azide can get in 400-700 without trying

Dude.

He made shit up non-stop.

Stop fucking idolising him.

It was all pretend.

noticed no difference going from 100g(1.5g per kg) to 200 - 300g (3-4.5g per kg)  protein a day.. went back down to 100g or less and leaving more room in the stomach for carbs... i feel so much more energetic in my day to day life, especially more so given high carbs, low fat low protein seem to digest better (atleast for me) than the old high protein medium fat/carb diet.

used to get really caught up over the exact macro figure but now i don't really care , i guess partly because a target like 1.5g per kg is just so easy to reach as far as protein is concerned. carbs on the other hand i have to keep a close eye on to make sure i'm putting in enough. this has a very direct effect on the days after workout much more so than falling low on protein.

In fact, if I trawled the archives here, and looked at the advice given just a few years ago... I'm sure the average amount at the time was more like 300g. And it was more of a flat rate - everyone was doing that, regardless of their bodyweight (except for a few big guys who might do a bit more).

Funny how those standards that everyone accepts as universally true change over time!

i dont notice any difference whether i have 150gm or 300gm (tried both for extended periods)

probably stronger on less protein cos make up the difference with carb. cheaper too.

used to always eat high protein meals with a little carb on the side but now its bigger carb meals with some protein

i just aim for 200 and if under or over i dont stress cos i know doesnt make any difference

less suckers to marketing, more real talk going on up in here. i think it's always gonna go like that, will be cycles where everyone at a certain point in time has a certain belief but after they've done some trial and error they realise it was just marketing crap and they trickle down to what they need to get done what they want. possibly also noteworthy that less 'traditional' bodybuilders on forums now than back then. many people now (ok maybe not a large percentage on this forum) don't just wanna be big/strong they wanna live fit life too. being active and efficient/athletic, high protein low carb stuff just doesn't cut the mustard there.

Sorry can't meet you're criteria, you must be overtired.

Lol I've seen Rebel onstage. Conditioning off the hook and a whole lot of muscle. Probably about 5'5 but hard to say onstage. The show I saw her in she was easily the most muscular and conditioned woman onstage in any division.

Why do you eat that much protein ? is it just because you like it or doest it benefit youre cutting for the stage? @ Rebel or anyone else

It's what my physique needs to supply sufficient nutrition for growth in heavy off season training.

I do not start cutting until July and then I will drop protein to about 180g

Protein forms the core of my food, everything else hinges around that. And yes I to would eat crayfish all day if I could, love crayfish.
