Did anyone else see the sound clip that has been circulating? Its a recording of a conversation between Moe and someone else where moe openly talks about his opinion on Indians and supposedly insulted an Indian staff member, I'm guessing Amit, by stuffing a statue of an elephant down his pants hahaha. I can no longer find the sound clip as it appears to be taken down from Facebook, I imagine their are some privacy issues going on here being a secret recording.

Anyone else know anything more? Quite embarrassing for moe and the people leaping to his defence over the whole Amit thing but I guess there may be some context to this secret recording?

Well like all secret recordings if you think about two people who are familiar with each other talking they're bound to say something that's not politically correct

Oh yeah for sure, just very embarrassing! I'd hate for private conversations Of mine to be broadcast on the net as I'm sure anyone else would. I guess that's why it was quickly taken down, I can imagine there would potentially be legal sequelae for the people sharing the recording. But yeah toms right probably taken out of context lol.

I'd love to know more about how this came to be recorded! Who was it Moe was speaking to? Was it a friend, or a stooge wearing a wire? Oh, the intrigue!

 

From a legal point of view, I seem to remember being told in journalism school that recording private conversations was okay, as long as one of the parties had given their consent. Which is how exposé TV programmes get away with it.

Obviously you guys havien't heard about this incident blew up on reddit nz recently about this scawny dude got insulted by staff from xtreme nutrition coz he didn't choose the protein tub King Moe had recommended.

I have to admit, the staff there has to be one of the most arrogant people I've ever encountered based on my past visit at that store.
