Detraining help

Currently attempting to 'detrain' between programs as i can't commit to any set training over a 2 week period. Also switching from madcow stonglifts to smolov to really focus on my squat.

 

I was just going to do a couple of my normal workouts but with increased volume and decreased intensity.

 

Thoughts/advice on how to detrain?

So you want to program hop, but you want to transition between your program hopping by the best means necessary?  :crazy: 

Take 2-3 days off, do some mobility work and stretching, start smolov and the rest of your plan. If you're ready for smolov, the rest will do you good, and then you get into it. If you're not ready for smolov, a couple of sessions before it aren't going to make a lick of difference. If that's the case, choose something else, or end up broken a few weeks in.
