blood tests

LH = Leutinising Hormone

FSH = Follicle Stimulating Hormone

E2 = Estrogen

TSH = Thyroid Stimulating Hormone

LH and FSH are used to signal your body its time to increase its natural testosterone production - so these are important after a cycle. If your test dosn't bounce back, you want to be able to look at LH and FSH and compare them to a pre-cycle benchmark.

Estrogen - obviously test aromatises to this, so it's good to know your pre-cycle levels to see how you've stuffed it up.

TSH - why would this be useful if he's not taking thyroid meds, Daz?

(Also, please correct anything above that may be wrong!)

Prior to a first ever cycle I believe its important to know what baselines were prior to any possible future disruption..

The thyroid is an important regulatory hormone, responsible for basal metabolic rate, body temp, protein synthesis, increased use of glucose and fatty acids for ATP production, stimulating lipolysis, enhancement of some catecholamines, and regulation of growth hormones...

LH = testosterone

FSH = sperm production
