normally i get pissed off reading these articles written by people who have lost x amount of weight by paleo/whatever other diet cos they make the next idiot that reads it think they lost weight by eating paleo/other fad diet, when actually the weight was lost because they have cut out a large amount of calories from their diet sometimes in spite of, not because of this new diet.

this guys one is far more logical and worth reading if you're a fatty (imo)

Cheers Maccaz. It's a good article for sure. I found what looks like the full-length version of it on his blog:

I passed it on to a couple of mates who are in the same "morbidly obese/diabetic, fad diets/Jenny Craigs haven't worked" category. I'm not sure this'll make the difference for them, but you never know...

Losing weight is about making permanent lifestyle changes and having the motivation to make it happen from start to finish. I agree with what you said, Maccaz.

People who lose weight seem to think it was the diet that made them lose weight. When in fact, It was their willingness and perseverance that made them lose the weight. If they just did their diet the proper standard way, they still would have lost the weight. They just don't know that. I know, I've been on heaps of diets. Some succeed and some fail, like my egg diet. My perseverance let me down on that one. I think I'll be staying right away from eggs for a long time to come.

So it wasn't their diet that made them lose weight but if they did their diet they'd lose weight

It's all about state of mind is what he's saying. If you believe shreddedness is in your future then.. then it will happen. No diet needed.

I too think he may be cooked! Or.... he's a genius. 2 things only barely separated by perspective :)

So as per our talk from decades ago, I can be the next big Ramy right?

im a big believer in in if you think it then put a plan in place nearly anything is posible...within the real of what is possible,

im 36 this year some would say to late to have a dream of getting up on stage having had so long off training but i started with baby steeps, a year later making big boy steeps, a year from now bigger stronger leaner

Anything is not possible. You have to be realistic. But getting on stage and bringing a good physique is realistic bro so just do it! Put the work in, enjoy the process and be proud once u achieve it.

You hit that right on the nail, HoleyHarry. If only I was a genius like you, I could have just simply stated what you typed. Thanks pal.
