New Zealand's strongest strict presser

damn how do you guys get the bar to accelerate from the bottom (starting) position of the press? that's my most difficult part to do without any kind of lower body usage. i've seen vids on youtube of guys doing 100kg+ all of them i notice a bit of tiny explosive hip movement, is this part of the OHP at all or is that more oly lifting?

Just like anything FOTR, I think overhead pressing responds well to volume. So if you want to press more, you should press more? Yep if there is any kind of leg drive its probably a push press which is a different movement and you can increase the load significantly if you have good tech + strong legs

Here is my 90x5 strict axle press today which is a beltless PB for me. Bodyweight around 93kg at the moment

Your locking your arms out at the top of the movement. Is that how it's suppose to be done? I was told by my trainer that you should always have a slight bend and never lock out. I could be wrong with this.

I just did some research on this and have found that locking elbows at the top of the movement is debatable. Locking out in my opinion isn't good for the joints, especially if your lifting huge amounts of weight.
