The best thing about Gymnation?

because if you want to better yourself, you have to surround yourself with others who are also wanting to better themselves. we have many folk from all kinds of disciplines here - bodybuilding, weightlifting, powerlifting, strongman, even bit of endurance/athletes and there and quite a few who simply want to reach a fitter physique. the ability ranges from complete beginner all the way to elites who represent our country, our ultimate goal remains the same which is to better ourselves and share our knowledge and motivations with the community

lots of knowledge in all aspects of physical training and nutrition, always honest feedback and plethora of logs to read through if you want to get a bit inspired by the progress of others. if you start your own log, even a crappy one as a beginner people will still take their time to give you honest feedback about how you can better yourself.

whatever kind of questions you ask you can always expect to get the realtalk, nothing sugarcoated just solid useful information by veteran gymrats

If you want tips to improve your tennis, you go to the tennis club, if you want to improve your golf swing you go to a Golf club, and if you want to discuss and debate in no bullshit terms how to improve your fitness, health and body, go to Gymnation. It's like a club, except you don't get kicked out for calling everyone c*nts.

Oh and the banter.

Im addicted to this forum. I like posting here cause it's pretty funny had me pissing myself out loud so many times over the years. It's a democratic place to debate and share ideas around lifting... This is the main reason im not on Facebook all these fitness pages are such a dictatorship with a person moderating them to suit their own views on fitness (or lack of). No one learns anything and it's just BS. I like reading blogs but find these lack the interaction and offer less POV than a forum. And I dislike international forums because thet are too big and it's cool interacting with ppl from your country where I can relate to everything said.

Favourite things on gymnation for me would have to be the general chitchat forum just when random shit comes up. I like reading reviews on competitions and events people write when thet compete at them and I get an insight into what the day was like in their shoes... or even if they just attend them so I can hear about it. I like reddogs and MTs log at the moment with all the videos they put up.

This here would make me want to join gym nation
