Steve just announced the worst kept secret in NZ bodybuilding!

I'm looking forward to see how the 2xNABBA-WFF Mr NZ, Mr World (& Mr Universe from memory) goes on this next stage of his journey.

He has announced he will compete in the Chch qualifier, then Nationals with the aim to go to Arnolds (Ohio) in 2016.

Without knowing the full detail of his record - I would assume he will be able to apply for a VISA in advance where he can pass on the detail of the offense. When you go through the detail of what happened based on the papers - he's hardly running a cartel.

You fill out your ESTA a declare your offenses but they won't get back to you until you arrive at the American terminal....

Yeah dunno why you think you need to be "running a cartel" to be refused entry to the USA opti. Theyre pretty anal about any drug conviction let alone importing pseudoephidrine/ice or whatever steve busted for (cant remember) in quantities far to large to be for personal use..

Yeah lol your mate is one lucky SOB, probably with some mitigating factors. I'd say there's more chance of King Kamali making a comeback than Steve getting a visa into the states, but you never know. I hope for his sake that he makes it, a lot of talent it would be a shame to see it go to waste.

Could always get on a container ship. Travel is about 10 weeks via ship, can do either prep while on broad and get those tanning gains.

I would imagine he's already confirmed his ability to travel overseas with his lawyer or internal affairs or whoever. He sounds pretty confident he'll be able to get over there

im sceptical that he will get in after some of the horror stories i've heard of people getting rejected at last minute but hope he does, be a big waste of talent if not

He will be able to get into australia, no time served. YOu can't come in if you have done more thsan 18 months of jail time.. well with some exceptions. Be a bit harder for him to get into the US though.

Nzifbb members post endless garbage on social media and if you question what they say watch out. Had argument with one of the idiotic girls before on FB when she posted some stat that she just made up in her head.

Bro it makes me sick. I'm not on FB but I logged back in today to get hold of a guy about getting some lifting gear resent to me. And iv pissed 3 people off already by commenting on their statuses. The best one was this ifbb girl put up status about 3/4 kids in nz are obese. I asked if was based on bmi, nope. So what was it based on, doesn't know.... Ok so u just saw 4 kids down at the shops and 3 were fat so you made up a statistic lol. Whatever the story behind it was it woulda been total BS... This is just going on on a daily basis. I hate Facebook... Dunno what's worse selfies or stupid people's opinions.

Anyway can't wait to se how Steve goes at Arnold's next year if he goes. For any ifbb experts is the Arnold's amatuer comp more competitive than ifbb world champs?

The Arnold's is fast becoming as competitive as the world Champs but imo it isn't there yet. The numbers aren't close to what they get at world's and there's generally no drug testing at the Arnold comps. Rather than the selective testing at world's

That's why Arnold champions generally do well in the pro ranks and well no one ever hears about who won world Champs. That and the fact that the Arnolds always gets massive social media coverage cos everyone getting a free stringer from a supplement company posts 10 times a day about their awesome prep
