Nutritionist in the Waikato

Its not that hard to sort it out yourself. A nutritionist will part you of your money.

Being 19 weeks out you have plenty of opportunity to find out where your calories need to be and then just ratio your macronutrients do the desired amounts keto lower proportion of calories from carbohydrates etc.

Information easily available on google. I took this approach was working 12 hour days 6 days a week at the same time and was easily manageable. I don't think a nutritionist could have got me in any better conditioning.

If your interested in doing it yourself plenty of trends on here about counting macros etc that will help a lot.

If still wanting nutritionist probably anyone is fine they aren't any thing special a lot of cookie cutters though.

Do you reckon, Jimmybro? Personally, I think a comp is the time when a nutritionist really pays for himself. You probably don't need to have a nutritionist this far out, but as you get down to the pointy end of comp prep I think its helpful. Even just to give you a different viewpoint than your own. Just make sure whoever you choose is experienced in prepping bodybuilders for shows - a general pt will probably be out of their depth.

Yeah I think it's necessary. But if your not confident doing it yourself a nutritionist might be the go. Not sure of any good ones though. What part of the Waikato are you from? There are plenty in the tron.

Sticking to the diet and not cheating probably most helpful thing you could do... Too much info? More like too much complicated info from bullshit artists. Since the explosion of social media everybody is turning nutrition into fucking neuroscience idiots with $450usd Issa online personal training certificates spouting absolute BS!

Simple way to find a good nutritionist, ask who they have gotten into shape, question them not ask a forum people just recommend you their mates. You're paying that person for a service ask them questions, don't be shy. so you know you're getting your money's worth.

Make a trip up to Auckland go and see someone credible like Leanne simays who practises what she preaches and gets results with people on s consistent basis.

Nate, jake did Jake do refeeds or just continuously cut your calories down?

I've seen his diets before and didn't think much of them, not much effort seemed to have gone into it. But then again there isn't much to it.

If your got a name for yourself in the fitness industry through competing its easy to have clients come to you. It's pretty easy to get people to lose weight... thats why I don't understand why people bother getting a nutritionist when you have so much information at your finger tips.

I guess if you can't be bothered and got the money to spare go ahead with it or if you don't have the will power to stick to what your plan is without someone kicking you in the arse.

But if thats the case maybe bodybuilding isn't for you....

Whatever you decide good luck.

The thing is people are always looking for the easy way to lose weight and they think their is some magic trick that a nutritionist will know that they do not.

As we all know the rules are universal there is no easy way just got to do the diet.....

The odd cheat meal but generally dropping calories.

I disagree with you in one sense, all the best bodybuilders seem to work with a trainer/nutritionist (tho Yates didnt) so why wouldn't you. I know making good decisions at sub 6% is near impossible for me thats why I let someone else do the thinking for me, even though my nutrition knowledge is better than most (and I've competed 10 or so times already). I basically sub contract the thinking so I can worry about doing - worked last time as I was around 4% when I won top of south, hopefully this year I'll be similar with a few extra kg!
