why would i care i dont know the guy IRL. it will have no direct consequence to my life. hundreds of people kill themselves every day. their choice mostly. thousands die every day when they prob want to keep living mostly. majority (almost all) of those i dont even know of or hear about.

sad yeah but not my problem and im not going to use my money to make a difference to someone elses life, even though small bit of money to me could be life changing to someone else with nothing. i rather save money to buy shit i want but dont really need, same as you. 

its normal to not care about people you dont know. dont pretend you give a shit. you just like everyone else that pretends to give a shit but does next to nothing. only difference between you and me is that i dont lie to myself

See not everyone is as heartless and as close minded as you are, millions donate to various casues throughout the world, help out others in need, contribute to society to help their community become a better place. All while knowing they will probably never met the people they are actually helping out.

 

You seemed to have completely missed my point, but to be fair you don't seem like the smartest guy around so I won't bother anymore, you actually arent worth the time.

Will be interesting to see how this place runs without his posts for a while as they seemed to be the only cause of arguments on here.

Nonsense. Stick around Rebel - you've got plenty of experience to share, and strong opinions to argue! I can't promise we'll all agree on everything, but I can promise that everyone learns more through the debate.

Lol he'll be back he loves the attention and validation he gets on here negative or positive, it's only a matter of time until people figure him out on his new forum. Regardless, good post by Tom. I think GR does need to harden up and stop taking comments about his diet and training so personally, its fuckin stupid and he needs to realise that ultimately people are just attempting to help him but his arrogance gets in the way. On the other hand, the trolling is sometimes excessive, kinda flogging a dead horse really.

As for people putting their money where their mouth is, terrible idea, honestly. Its like treating a kid after they have a tantrum. As someone mentioned this was already organised for him but again he became beligerent when people started asking for pics etc. The whole exercise was to help make him accountable while doing something nice for him. He spat the dummy.

This is all pointless really because he will be back, like i said, he gets so much validation from this site, both negative and positive it doesn't matter to him, he's Gymnations hottest member/biggest celebrity remember? I really hope he does come back, he has a lot of people willing to help him here, he provides a lot of entertainment and its cool seeing someone taking a huge amount of enjoyment out of BBing. Because of his naivety he's kind of a reminder about the simple reasons people like lifting when you strip away all the ego/narcissism/politics/bullshit.

yeah i really like that about him in particular. true passion for it. when i met him personally that was the first / most ovious thing, the way he was really going on about nats and showing everyone random pics of that weekends pans on his camera.

 

also good point about gymnations hottest member... come to think of it, now that he's gonna we're gonna need a replacement. brb starting new thread.

Yeah half the time charities are either fraudulent (been proven several times) or highly innefective at doing shit with the money you give them (e.g in one particular year PETA put down 95% of all the (healthy) dogs that they found)

Well I think if he is going to follow Gymrat from forum to forum I can have a little fun too, after all Gymrat is just a pseudonym isn't it!

Besides Axide is big enough to look after himself I think, he can always report cyber bullying!

i dunno i haven't heard from him in a while normally he sends me a txt about how his benching went but im worried today to release stress from all this being singled out he wanted to bench about 220kg just a tad higher than his PB. he said he would film it and txt afterwards but he didn't, i wonder if it failed or something in his mixed emotions hmm...
