The contest is no longer a guaranteed entry into the Arnold. It appears the Arnold Pro is now going to be invite only. So now I can only really hope to make it in. After two contest wins in 2 weeks, I'd hope that I could get an invite along with the current NZSM.

Fingers crossed for you then, mate. But how could they NOT invite the Wookie?!

 

 

Yeh thts what I was thinking. If it's down to invites now, don't think they would have to think twice about whether to invite one of NZs strongest along.

what do they base invites on for this kind of thing? just some guy pick names or is it an official selection ?

Basically there is a panel of 4 who would handle the invites.
Likely, there would be a field of 12. 6 or so from USA, Iceland, Europe. 2 from South Africa. 2-3 from Australia. 1-2 from NZ.

The other issue is there are 3-4 strong Kiwi's living in Aus that could apply to rep NZ. The current NZSM has the best chance of getting an invite. Anyone else it's kind of up for grabs.

Better get that 360kg+ squat sorted by end January and a monster overhead.
