How good was that deadlift bar and the mono lift.  Makes a huge difference aye.  If u grease Court up she will let you squat at hers in it whenever u like

I think the LED screen will be better than projector Pseudonym because it will be large and easy to read and only contain the information you need to know for the lift

Projector screens can be hit and miss depending on the amount of natural light in a building and just another thing we have to set up on the day whereas the led screen will just be plug and play

Like Tom said they are pretty much the standard overseas.  I think u have to see one in real life or a picture to appreciate what I mean

Yeah I whole heartedly agree with both points

We have had amazing DJs in the past who were attentive and kept the music low or off during the actual lifts and then pumped it up in between.  The DJs we had this time were not paying attention as much.  And the music played was not ideal unfortunately.  The best music actually started when we unplugged the DJ and just had the ipod playing ACDC lol.  We are working out a deal for next year so we have this side of things sorted.

We usually have the screen facing out to the crowd or an additional screen but the way the tables was facing meant the spotter loaders wouldnt have been able to see the screen if we pointed in to the crowd and they need to see what they are loading etc.

We have an LED screen being custom built for us next year which will display the attempt number, weight on the bar, name and whether or not it is a record attempt.  Plus it will have the light system built into it.  Couldnt afford it this year as we bought the new plate set and equipment but next year we will have heaps of flash stuff

Hamish you should hit up Jacob Tiddy to do the DJing. Miada felt like a rave with the music that DJ was playing was way to loud too, like unbearing loud. The music setup at the Waikato 3 lift was wicked !

Got better when Daniel Hoilday approached the DJ and he started playing ACDC though. Needed some heavy metal!
