bulk chicken- Welly?

Hey all,

 

I usually wait until Mad Butcher has chicken breasts on special at 8.99 or 9.99 a kg and buy 30kgs, however its normally sporadic with him. Anyone know of places which sell in bulk whoses prices are competitive .

Prestons might do it cheaper. You'll have to go in and talk to them about it, say that you want 30kgs+ and let them know you'll be a repeat customer every few months and they will probably do you a deal. Haven't been there in a few years now though.

 Beffneggs, Any luck with the chicken at Prestons? I normally get it on special at countdown so it would be good to have an alternative plan

Nah bro, decided to wait for the mad butchers 6 weekly specials 9.99 bucks a kilo. Prestons only gave me a  10.99 offering. Ive been timing the mad butcher and he rotates every 5-7 weeks with chicken ranging from 9.99 a kg to the low 8.99 .

Mad butcher is probably running at close to cost with their chicken deals so you go in and buy other stuff while you're in there and they make profit off you that way.  If you tell Prestons or mad butcher that you will be a repeat customer, come in and buy heaps of their chicken all the time etc they will probably laugh, thats not what they want.  

I buy up to 500 kilo a week of boneless skinless breast and my price is not much better if at all on Mad butcher specials.
