Tanning the face for competitions

How DO you tan your face when competing?

No one else had white face and tanned body. It would have lost you points and maybe is a reason why you came last because it looks retarded. You were sabotaged!

I have never put dream tan on some ones face before and trying it on the day could have resulted in problems it was not worth the risk.

the eyes in particular react in unpredictable ways and I could not take that risk.

Have you used this product on the face before? If so enlighten us please.

I am not saying that it was deliberate, and you obviously did what you thought best reble.However it is obvious to anyone who has ever been to a bodybuilding show that bodybuilding competitors use tanning product on their faces. I used a different product.

You are correct different product is used on the face! It's called make up!

Now I know Gymrat has none I will help him with my product for the Nationals he has nothing to worry about but certainly does not need to be wound up about it!

The times I've competed, I've used Dreamtan on my face. It was fine. (In fact, it leaves the skin feeling really good!)

The only issue I had was with my beard. The Dreamtan soaked into all the follicles and looked much darker than everywhere else, and a bit dirty. I think perhaps the solution here would be to thoroughly apply moisturiser to the beard first, so the Dreamtan doesn't soak in as much.

From what I've seen, most guys tend to just slap Dreamtan on, whereas girls are more likely to use makeup. To me, that just seems like it's introducing another problem - now you also need to match the colour of the makeup to the Dreamtan. Surely it's better to keep it simple?

Make up is relatively cheap and does remove better from the skin, I got mine from Farmers. 

Not difficult to match and lasts forever!

The problem with Dream Tan on the face with us girls is it's not a great base for the rest of the make up we apply.  Our $2 shop has some great dark foundation make up - and for what I need it for it's perfect.
