Looking for a trainer for first time competing in bodybuilding comp

Recommended Posts

Bobby Kazemi does a 12 week comp plan. 1 x pinch and pose diet change etc and 1 x training session. $1300. I think its a deal for the amount of time he puts into his clients. I loved the entire process

Bargain ... takes years to refine your own comp pathway.  Bobby knows his own very well - has a good reputation for translating for others too.

Yeah it made the whole process far easier for me. Have trained for years and always wanted to compete atleast once but really didnt know where to start. Having the weekly checks ment we could make adjustments along the way  very easily.

Give it a go yourself. Or at least try dieting down. The only way you will figure out how it might all work is if you try. If you dont you may have to end up putting it all in someone elses hands, then you will likely have to pay that kind of money. Or you could pay less for someone inexperienced, which is probably even more of a waste of money (I dont mean I think coaches are a waste, just if you havent got 1300 to spare for someone good its even worse to spend 600 on someone who might be crap).

Comp prep, at the very core, is losing fat. Practice losing fat. If you get better at it you will most likely be learning how to lose the most fat with the most food, the least cardio and the best recovery that you can. Most of the rest it details and methods that contribute to this. If you gain experience (and knowledge) it will give you the advantage. So get practiciing.

I have never had a trainer really until recently but i was only able to afford two workout sesh lol. This is my first time dieting down since ive been on permabulk all the time, ive learnt a reasonable amount about diet from various forums, im not on fat burners

i went from 17.5% bodyfat to 10% in 6 weeks using the diet guidance online

although there are some things i wonder if im doing wrong , for e.g. is there anything im eating that i shouldn't be? im not sure if im doing the right thing with the 0.8-1g carb per lb bodyweigt

been two weeks since my trainer measured my bodyfat i hope ive continued losing fat at the same rate, my abs don't really look under 10% , it must be a lot harder when im in single digits i presume? and my comps nearly due :o

i don't want to spend another $70 to measure my bodyfat as im saving for posing its the most important thing for me at the moment, i booked posing with Jo Stewart the first suggestion in this forum and she put me with a guy called Marc whose supposed to be really good so im excited i guess

my competition is in 3 weeks

Ah. In that case, you need to start practising posing NOW.

Post up some photos here, and we can give you some advice. Then at least you'll have a head start when you go to see this other guy.

Honestly, if you've only got 3 weeks to go, practise your poses every chance you get.

Im not that hardout to spend so much on it, if I had at least avg income I might have. Perhaps next year I might when im bigger I'll consider but for now im just taking posing sessions to gain confidence in posing on stage properly, my competition is in 3 weeks

Are you doing the Club Physical Show or the Whakatane Show?
