Good on you, Nate - I was going to start a topic on this too.

That is awesome. But man... missing the first two attempts on what you thought was an easy lift... that would seriously screw with your head at any comp, let alone one as big as this! Well done on pushing through the mind block, Richie!

I think Stanislav used to be a member here? Did he go under the name of ExpensiveUrine? (Actually, probably no-one remembers him now... he was one of our earliest members.)

Stas and I trained together for about 2 years when we were both about 18. He had lifted around age 13-16, then took a break. Came back with excellent technique right off the bat, but was pretty skinny. 

Pretty amazing when one realises this Silver in Glasgow was a PB total, and only his 2nd comp back after double knee surgeries. He will hit 200kg clean and jerk before long.
