Very risky fight for Parker. He has huge potential, but I think this is a bit soon for him. He is still rough around the edges and Minto is a crafty fighter. He will elbow, headbutt whatever it takes to unsettle Parker.

I rate Parker too but this fight is a massive risk and I just dont think he is ready.

The other main fight should be good too. Rob Berridge is NZ's number 1 pound for pound boxer. His last few fights have been crackers and this one should be too.

You don't make a name for yourself taking easy fights forever... Bout time he took on someone worthy. Parker is bigger, faster, fitter, younger, stronger.... If he boxes properly he should make mince of minto.

No I personally think it's refreshing to see a boxer who will take a fight that will be a contest rather than these guys looking to build their records on easy wins... A good record means nothing if it wasn't against anyone decent. Worst case scenario... Losing to minto won't be the end of his career anyway. Dnt forget He is a much better boxer than Cameron when he boxes properly he is a lot faster too I think it'll be a good match up and will test both opponents. Just back him and I guess later sat night we will know.
