Depends on the person and their ability to shed fat. For me I struggle with fatloss so I need to keep things tidy when bulking. 

Not to be rude but you look like a naturally skinny person who wont have much issue recomping when needed. For alot of people I know who struggle to gain weight, dirty bulking is the only answer to add overall size and thichness at the expense of a higher bodyfat%. But there is tipping point if your 20% bf you cannot justify dirty bulking. I made this mistake and it took ages to get bf down low enough.

I would just listen to bobby he will know what to do, I know he too is lean naturally so will be able to help more than me. hopefully he says yes to dirty bulking :-D

You still want to get most of your macros from good sources, especially protein and carbohydrates. I think you can get away with it abit more when you're younger like you. If your struggling to put on weight and/or get your required calories from good foods then getting the extra ones from "dirty" calorie dense foods is ok.

listen to your trainer. You obviously chose him for a reason, if you doubt what he says then why pay him.

Depends on your definition of a dirty bulk. If you mean eating some junk food etc while still hitting your macros, go for it.

If you mean eating as much food as you can and gaining as much weight as you can, I really don't see how this can be beneficial to any natural bodybuilder/athlete. You'll get strong really fast, and put on a good amount of muscle, but then lose a significant percentage of that strength and lean mass during the extended or aggressive cut which will be required.
