Rib strain

Anyone had this before?

got thrown into the ground few days ago got badly winded and thought I cracked a rib but wasn't the case, got home and was no pain for 24 hours so next day I went into weight room and was doing heavy rack pulls and felt what seemed to be a tear under my left pec. Couldn't do jack shit so went physio next day and he diagnosed it as a rib strain something to do with ligaments connecting the ribs or something u can't remember. Anyway I have to go away in 12 days and wondering if anyone had had this and how long took to heal? Obviously each persons gonna be slightly different just looking for peace of mind or a mind f*ck lol.

These hurt like f*ck especially when you roll over in bed at night, feels like a knife in your side. I get it every now and then, usually feels better in 4-5 days.

Getting better bro, slowly. Physio reckons be sore for bout 6 weeks but the pain won't equate to more damage being done so I just doing what I can. Couldn't lift up a 60kg barbell when I did it but can do that now with mild discomfort . 

So on the mend I just keep resting. coulda been worse like a pec tear or bicep. So I'm happy with that, learnt my lesson.
