Powerlifting/Olympic Lifting Workshops - Reuben Simanu and Danny Nemani

Hey everyone,

sorry for the late notice but just wanted to inform those in the BOP and Waikato area (or the wider area) that myself and Danny Nemani are conducting a Powerlifting and Weightlifting workshop this weekend (10-11 May) for those looking to learn or improve on the big lifts i.e The Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift, Snatch and Clean and Jerk. With the huge interest and following in crossfit, the profile of these lifts have taken them from forgotten power movements to everyones favourites. It is because of this fact, that myself and Danny would like to pass on our knowledge to help you improve not only technically but also performance wise as well. Its a totally practical worshop where we will be working and training alongside the attendees.

Weightlifting workshop - Saturday 10/5/14 and again on Sunday 11/5/14 from 2pm to 4pm

Each workshop costs $40 per person

You guys did one recently out at Crossfit 275, didn't you... Are you taking these workshops on tour?! Any other locations to come?

Hey Andrew, yes we did do a workshop at crossfit 275 on behalf of the Auckland Powerlifting Association back in March. At this stage our plan is to do these workshops in other regions as well and we will keep you updated as dates are confirmed.

Eventually we will hit the Hamilton region JB1 but we havent set any dates as yet mate. There are still spots available for this one this weekend on both days if its not out of the way for you (totally understand if you cant though because it is a haul).

Yeah this one is a bit far away, but if there is one more central waikato will be keen to attend.

I could check if Brett Gibbs is keen to do one. Sure he would, his 1st Seminar was in Auckland not too long ago and was a success.

Not sure who would do oly lifting tho.

I would attend either powerlifting or OLY lifting to be honest. So if you arrange something like that it would be great.
