yeah man you can move more weight this way and you can be the strongest keeent in the gym. best done on a monday 530pm when there is shortage on 20s so when everyone likes "where are all the plates?" they see you and your impressive stack and immediatly you assert as gym top dog.

Oh I didn't realise this was a piss take. I find I can do a couple more plates each side with my hands on my knees. So add those 2 extra plates and I'm getting 4-5 plates per side.

My legs always get really sore afterwards.

I rekon its allgood to use the hands on the last couple of reps to help you push through that pain barrier ( its the same as having a spotter) but shouldn't be used all reps as you'll never know how strong your leg press actually can be. And defeats the purpose of it actually being a leg press :)
