I have no Idea I just know Ava Cowan (figure competetor) had it done haha and I've vaguely researched it. I think you can only have it if you only have issues with one disc. 

There would be surgeons in this country who do it. Prob cost like 20 grand lolol.

Would ACC cover a prosthetic disk if you could show that fusion would be detrimental to your career?

I have no idea - i think the injury wouldhave to be an "accident" not a degeneration (wear over time). So for me i might be able to get away with that depending on final diagnosis but not sure for crazyfacials.

Knowing how ACC works they'll try to weasal themselves out of it lol, I've yet to go back to the doctor as I am busy work work/uni other crap, would be great to get a specialist's advice though

Yeah just push for a refferral - you can just look up specialists and private doctors in your area. Probably want an orthopedic doctor specialising in spinal surgery. Then ask to be referred to them. might be 6 weeks wait or something though.

Yeah I am in no rush, a I said the pain isn't as bad, someone told me that because I took isotane and lifted heavy at some stage it might of had that affect on me, from what they said "isotane dries the joints etc" saw  a dermatologist today a and she said that it if anything isotane would make the bone around that area bigger but it's very rare...  I have stopped doing acupuncture for now as it was tedius to drive to the north shore from south Auckland + the draining treatment she used to do ... hopefully things don't regress

Interesting... I didn't realise your spine becomes so vulnerable in your 30s...

Yeah it would be pretty sweet shame its probably just in trials atm and would take years to get to us....

Got my orthopedic appt next thursday after my MRI monday so will update y'all...
