Lean gains?

Recommended Posts

I'm interested in your thoughts on lean gains.

Now I know that (especially the natty world) this is another way of saying not eating enough to gain muscle ("Help, I'm a hardgainer!"). But I want to talk about lean gains on gear. Is it possible? Where would one sit with cals? 5-10% over maintenance?

INB4 waste of gear, get massive etc... let's say that for various reasons gaining a lot of fat was unacceptable at a particular time (e.g. mid december with new year/summer approaching, or too much BF to start with). I've read in multiple places that AAS promotes fat burning and metabolism even as it increases muscle growth, protein synthesis and muscle/fat partitioning. So, at least theoretically, they seem to promise the ability to sit just above RMR and acheive a nicer body composition without changing weight too much. Any one experienced this? (I've only ever done the mass calories/gain size quick version).

Think I remember reading maintance +300cals is a good place to start to recomp on gear.  So I guess you would start around there and monitor progress and ajust from there.  Interested in others experience tho, as I am keen to keep the b/f as low as possible on my next blast

best compounds for lean gains and recomposition imo..

test, tren, boldenone combo

diet..

eat slight surplus training days, maintanance/slight deficit rest days.

gear does a effect on lipolysis to a certain extent - just not to the point some people think thye can eat shit all day long.

Thanks rapz... and a credible response given your cycle log in which you clearly demonstrate this. Nice work btw.

So when you say a slight surplus/deficit, what do you mean % wise? Is ben0's 300 cals a decent ballpark figure?

There is no percentage bro- keep it simple- try 300 cals if u wish and if it works for you then thats good- if not decrease/increase as needed.  Main thing in keep things consistent.

The above compounds are just from past experience- from what i have read NPP, primobolan, anadrol, superdrol would be nice additions, im yet to try so i cant comment
