Baseline bloods done, low test?

Recommended Posts

Hi all - first time post, been lurking here for awhile as i've been researching towards a first cycle. I recently went and got some blood work done to establish my baseline levels - everything seemed pretty normal apart from a pretty low?? free test level (below).

Blood work done at 9.30am about an hour after I woke up. Left it in the units the lab provided.

Testosterone 10.9 nmol/ L ref range (8.0 - 29.0)

SHBG 47 nmol/L ref range (13-71)

Free Testosterone 172 pmol/L ref range (198 - 619)

FSH 2.0 IU/L ref range (2.0 - 12.0)

LH 4.6 IU/L ref range (2.0 - 9.0)

Oestradiol 62 pmol/L  ref range (<161)

Bit of background

- 25 years old

- stats: 81kg @ 14% BF. 5'10 height

- lifting experience - started off a fatty 3 years ago, spent a year with a pretty loose training programme/ nutrition, followed by 2 years of improved programme + nutrition.

- goal strength + mass

Some advice please!

- From the research i've done, the values of testosterone and free test seem pretty low for someone my age. Can anyone confirm this?

- If so -  in peoples experience are they low enough to warrant a GP to do anything about?

Cheers
