Was a great show to be a part of - very proud to have been up there alongside Sam and Android.  Sam came in nice and full - I was markably flat having tried something quite a lot different.  But I was happy with the result none the less.

Sam deserved the pro card more than anyone and I was under no illusion of this back stage.  He's a great body builder and has a great opportunity to persue his dream.  Awesome.

Not sure whats next for me - I can definately make improvements - the picture attched is a good indiactor of this ... 5 days on - 7kg heavier and a shit load fuller - have a new opportunity to practise if/when I show next.  Have taken a lot of learnings from it all and the tips and tricks I networked back stage :)

Credit to Moe - cops some shit for times past but I think its time everyone moved on.  This is the 2nd IFBB show I have done in last 6 months and I have to say its a great format.  I have found Moe to have mellowed a lot and he always takes the time to stop and say hi which I think is pretty good going given he doesnt know me from a bar of shit.

These shows (Pro) are expensive to put on and in the early days you go farther backwards - I think if Tony in Australia had given up on events we wouldnt be seeing the explosion of popularity in powerlifting and bodybuilding over there - and now incorperated into an Arnold Classic event.  His events are $100 for tickets and competitors pay a lot more to participate than we do here.

Rightly or wrongly Moe has openned the door to IFBB and next level bodybuilding in NZ.  I think the good he has achieved in the sport for his fedreation has far outweighed the negative.  I'm surprised he doesnt charge more for competitors and his ticket prices are still cheaper than those in Australia.  He's been very fair to me and by all accounts to everyone I have seen him talking with at shows.  Shits going to go wrong in any fed or comp - you just get on with it and endure a few squeeky wheels with a view to make improvements at the next.

Thanks to everyone that supported the show - see you in the trenches.  Peace be upon you :)

I am going to give a big thumbs up to Moe for taking this sport in hear in NZ to the next level by brining more pro's down to NZ.Plus it is a  great way for us Kiwis to see pro's  who competed in the Olympia etc up close. That's awesome about Aussie having a Arnold Classic as well plus I can recall Big Garth tell me about that on my last trip to Auckland and Garth told me that he spent a fair bit of money can't recall the cost off hand but it was very expensive.Having said that it gives Moe more options by sending a team over to the States for the Arnold classic over there and team to the Arnold classic in Melbourne as well which is shorter flight across the Tasman.
