Woah mint. Does that mean I can choose a t shirt or trackie daks since ive already an entry in. Will still upload my bench and going to try for 70 rep squats as a crossfitter lol with the hope nobody else enters as a crossfitter even though im not a crosfitter but somebody had to enter as a crosfitter

lol heads up as per last competition that was run here.. the crossfitters are sneaky, they'll suddenly show up with their crazy last minute entries

Wow only just seen this thread, dam this is a primo comp,

Il have a low key attempt at the gym next week, dont like my chances too much cause I have a sholder injury that iv had for months.

Bad timing for me I think :(

Good lifting guys very impressive stuff.

My entry for the Gymnation Challenge Part 1 Bench Press

Body weight 75.96 (75% is 57 kg)

Achieved 29 reps in 5 minutes for the bench press

 

 

Hope this works okay try the squats on Wednesday

 

doubt it will matter unless another girl enters but says in the rules:

Must unrack the bar and bench to chest.  No pause is required but no blatant bouncing and each rep must be to the chest then back up to within an inch of lock out.  The lifter may rerack the bar and have a rest as many times as they like but they may not leave the bench.  If anyone else touches the bar at any stage then the lift is over and the final rep count will be up to the previous rep.  Butt must stay on the bench and all times and excessive foot shuffling means the end of the lift. The ONLY accessories that will be allowed are Wrist wraps, soft weight belt, elbow sleeves, mouth guard and headband.

Thanks Azide for feedback l missed the not leave the bench and must not be touched by another bit.

Will be doing another attempt next week and will correct those things.

Yeah my mistake, I shouldve gone over the rules beforehand. Is second nature to unrack and re rack a bar for clients when youve been a PT for 20 years....you do it subconciusly.No worries Rebel we will do it over next chest day. We will own the squats tomorrow though.

Body weight 75.5 (75% - 56.62) used 57.5kg

Achieved 68 reps in 5 mins

 

New rules just in.  Females have to do 100 % of bodyweight lol.   Na thats boss you killed it Rebel 101.

Hi Soundsgood thank you for comments. Should not scare anyone away so many much more experienced lifters than me around. Aylmer has been great training me and much of the credit goes to him.

Where did you get to see me competing last year? I have never competed in powerlifting before just looked on from the side lines. And now at my age seems pointless getting involved in a sport where so many others have invested alot more time and effort.
