Gym 3 times a day

I was wondering if gyming 3 times a day is alright?

like i was thinking of going to the gym at like 6am, do cardio for maybe 30-45 minutes and then go back at round 2pm for an hour and work on maybe upperbody and then go back at 8:30pm - 9:00pm and do lowerbody for an hour. This wouldnt be everyday only like maybe weekends and maybe 3 times a week during holidays.

At the moment im going to the gym at round 2pm and then going back at 8:30pm and i usually gym for about 1 hour/ 1 1/2 hours.

if you want to hit your full body in a day and go gym like 2~3 times a week then try one of the basic programs like 5x5. you go in, do your squats/bench/rows or squats/press/deadlift followed by couple accessory sets then you can go do some cardio/stretching and you're done for the day. if you want to see progress you need to follow a structured program not just go in randomly and 'maybe do some kind of upper body stuff' then go in again later and 'maybe do some kind of lower body stuff'.

 

nothing wrong with wanting to be more active in your life but wouldnt bother making an extra trip to gym just for cardio. at 6am the weather out is pretty chill just warmup a bit then go do a jog or you could just hop on one of the cardio machines at the gym after your weights.
