receptor saturation?

Hey guys,

I have read alot of threads about cruise/blasting and noticed most people dont blast for more than 20 weeks.

I understand that the receptors get full so we up the dose etc......to keep on making gains.

I know someone thats been On for almost 10 months, the latest blast has been going for 23 weeks and he recently added tren ace to mix.He is planning on running that for 6 weeks then 2 more weeks of test e, before either coming off or another cruise?

Questions....

Does the tren overpower the receptors and still do the business?

Is this a good idea ,to finish off a cycle ,after a long time on?

Just curious thanks.

:)

I've quite a bit of info on AR burnout myth, plus changing dose whilst on cycle (whether it works)..

Here's how I understand it:

Not quite your in answer to your question, but I'll get round to it:

Burning out receptors and blunting drug sensitivity.. Research shows doses of Anabolics that put levels above normal range over a period of time your AR count increases, it does not decrease..!! So over time you can use more and get benefits from higher doses.. Although gains will slowly reduce the longer you stay on, over time the overproduction of an anabolic response in the body will result in some catabolic hormones, therefore a catabolic response..!! You can higher the dose of AAS to counter but eventually the side effects will negate any gains from increasing the dose..!! Eventually you will have to lower the dose of AAS to lower the catabolic response (cruise) this is also beneficial on the body as it allows blood markers to return to normal, E, Cholesterol, blood pressure, liver values etc..!! The bigger you get the harder it is to gain more muscle beyond a certain threshold..

Changing doses whilst on cycle: You are using the same receptors they don't become desensitised or used to a given drug.. Changing from on drug to another with the same dose and anabolic activity, there will be no difference in gains.. There are non-androgen receptor AR mediated anabolic responses in the body, not all drugs produce them there are different pathways. Most people will run a Test base year round, low dose or high dose, testosterone also has non-AR mediated anabolic responses, Nandrolone has a much stronger affinity for AR in muscle tissue but doesnt produce muscle gains from other pathways, such as elevating certain other anabolic hormones like testosterone does... You dont need to change drugs to make gains, add, subtract some if you require different charicteristics ie: pre-contest you need to be striated and dryer.. you wont need the same compounds to bulk on.. Variation based on goals: if your only goal is to make gains run test year round and use ancilliarys..!!!!

Regards your question on Tren... It dose have a greater affinity for AR, but after so much time on gear, I do wonder if its inclusion would make that much difference.. You just get to a point where you're stagnating and all you notice is sides creeping up on you... My advise would be taper down to a sensible cruise dose (dependant on his lean body mass) and stay on until all health markers have been at normal for a reasonable length of time.....

Some Kudos would be nice Gentlemen.... I'm doing all this with one finger, its taking up all my spare time.... Lol  *mosking*

Awsome thanks heaps for the reply atrollappears,

I understand fully on what your saying, so my mates not wasting his time or money at all really as I can see the definition and swoleness happening after 1 week on 50mg tren ace ed.

Hes only on 600pw test e while on trenbolone, with no negative sides at all.

I will let em know hes on the right track.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and I have given kudos to ya more than once.

We need more people like you on gymnation.

I've been here years... Just had a re-vamp & come back as a Troll (that kinda isn't)..Lol

Anyway Trolling through my black book I've found something of interest:

Receptor sensitivity with prolongued use????: The body reaches a state of homeostasis and not wanting to gain anymore muscle for a while, or the fact that you've gained so much muscle over 8-10-12 weeks of heavy gear use - you need a larger anabolic response to grow because you've pushed too far beyond your genetic limits.. The reality is prolongued use and the more cycles you do... Or the more blast/cruise you do or continually stay on: Research shows receptors up-regulate so someone using for a lot longer can benefit from a higher dose than early users... Novices use far too much gear than they need to or they have receptors for. They resaturate receptors and get too many side effects for no additional gains. Unless you've been using a while 1-1.5g is all that most people can tollerate anything beyond will result in more side effects. If adding hGH it seems to improve the ability to use higher doses and benefit from that... hGH sucks on its own, its synergistic with testosterone and high AAS. It can take a couple of years to up-regulate receptors to benefit from 2-2.5g/week.....
