why do my calfs shrink so rapidly when i don't train them for a few days

Recommended Posts

i srs have to train them every third day to maintain an average look for them, they shrink to a stick look if i dont.

my big upper legs make my calf look even more shit lol

yes i know everything about alternate stance calf raise, heavy weight low reps, light weight high reps (even up to 50 rep raises).. geez, my calf is jus stubborn as fk

my poor faith in their growth makes it even harder to be motivated to train them with as much intensity as the other muscles

talk about cursed unblessed calf genetiks

lmao doesn't look like he has upper legs either from the looks of 0:34 on the video(probably doesn't even squat)

his upper body looks pretty small too, i wouldnt take advice from a tiny guy like that hahhahaha and that friend of his was a joke lolo

the video was hillarious but complete garbage from a non lifting phagot lol

btw my thighs are 24 inches, pretty good for my little height 5"5 :D

my calfs are 14.5 inches pumped right now (they used to be 16.5 inches pumped last year but ive been neglecting calfs even more this year bcus 16.5 is still pretty small)

my arms are now 17 inches

lol sighs this years resolution is to get calfs back to 16.5 pumped and.. anything passed 16.5 is like a fantasy to me lol

Have I missed something? What's the issue everyone has here?

OK, this topic was posted more as a rant than a question, but there's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure plenty of people with feeble calves can sympathise with Imadeapoopsie's point of view.

Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. I just have to think about my calves and they grow.

Sorry 'Poopsie. :P

Bahaha, that video was funny as!!! I hear what you're saying though, It's hard to get the pumps in the calves and maintain them, especially if you work as hard as you do and the results don't last, I too suffer from the same thing, but, thanksfully, the guy in that video puts it all into perspective :oP

They shrink because when you train blood, inflammation and glycogen stores are increased in the muscle which can increase the size or the look/feel. If you don't train for a while then this stops/doesnt happen.

Sort your squats and get them heavy and your calves will grow.
