there here just exceptionally busy with work etc> Still not training yet, getting better, but need to get rid of this injury completely, have been swimming or walking about 3 or 4 times a week just to stop myself from going completely insane!! Can't wait to start lifting weights again and feel that burn!!! god i miss it. Still have hopes of getting on stage in october but am just taking one day at a time, dont think my body will lose fat either until everything is completely fixed. Must just be patient, certainly mnot something I am very good at. Keep up your journey, I enjoy reading about your progress. Hows the new eating program helping the fat loss etc?? Hope all is wel

Hi Tammy

Good to hear your getting better. I understand about the patience thing i have trouble with it too, especially when it comes to fat loss.

The new diet is going great so far, i am hardly ever hungry, which is the best part. I hated feeling like i was starving all the time.

I will weigh myself in the weekend and see if it is working, will do a fat test in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed!!

I feel alot stronger in the gym since i've started this new diet. Makes me think about how much farther ahead i would be now if i had done this earlier, but one thing i've learnt is that body building is all about patience, trial and era.

Hope your recovery continues at a steady pace :D

Hi carma, I always think about checking in. Not alot of time sometimes as we at home spend alot of time organising things for the NZFBB, training, working around kids, and working. Life is pretty damn busy with working, training, and promoting bodybuilding etc.

We have just returned from Melbourne where my husband was judging the Pro's in the Grand Prix. It was an experience that topped many of the other experiences that we have had with Pro Shows. It was worth every cent.

Anway, I am 26 weeks away from competing in Spain representing New Zealand. I am going all out with my training. Love it.. Competition gives us great skills in time management although it is abit of a test sometimes.

Having spent quite alot of time with the big boys in Melbourne it was very motivating even if I am a little kiwi woman. It is still hard for all of us no matter how high or how low we are on the ladder.

So keep training hard and most especially remain confident in yourself and any decisions you make and have some fun in the process. Bodybuilding should be fun as well as much as some people appear to be pretty dismal. cheers

luf and muscles, Jo.
