I honestly don't think it will make that much of a difference. I'd say any improvement in performance would be attributable to the placebo effect rather than any significant changes in hormone levels. Even if there were significant changes in hormone levels I doubt that it would have a noticeable effect on your strength overnight. Over a prolonged period of time one may notice improved recovery and gains from a diet like the one in the article. It was an interesting read for me nonetheless but I probably won't be too anal about having tons of carbs the night before and what not. It won't hurt if you do though

Thats why i think most big time powerlifters and strongman are huge and not very lean but huge muscle size under all the fat coz they eat alot, there always fully carbed up muscles all stored up and food nutrients runinng thru them continuisly keeping energy levels and strength high, its worked for me from day 1 had a few even overnight increases when duin the same exercise again ,i broke my PB,s every single week for 3 months doing some of these things and thats without any enhancing stuff aswell, each person may be affected differently though.

Iv read that Andy Bolton uses incourages pre workout in his book i have, Scott Mendelson eats during his strength training, My bro IFBB pro Darren use to sometimes eat bananas durin his workout aswel and even use to eat halfway thru sleepin lol it definatly works for me and iv just started so it definatly has some merit to it,  sometimes i take an energy drink with creatine in it when i train, sometimes iv felt stuffed and takin some lollies for a boost nek minute amping again for anuther 10 or so mins lol.
