Muscletech 100% whey vs muscletech nitro-tech vs ON gold standard 100 % whey.

So im overseas at the moment and am on the look out for whey.

The other day I bought MT phase8 over ON gold because that's what I was told was better.

I was at the mall and decided to look in the sports shop. I saw that they had MT Nitro tech and MT 100 % Whey. The MT 100 % whey was about $85 for 5lbs. Not sure about the nitrotech.

So I was wondering which one is better in terms of effectiveness and price. Nitrotech, MT 100 % whey or ON gold standard 100 % whey. The price doesn't really matter since it is sort of cheap here. More of effectiveness.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Is Muscletech actually a rubbish product? Or is it just over-hyped and over-priced? (In which case, if money really doesn't matter, price is irrelevant)

Nitrotech and ON 100% Whey are both mainly whey isolate, so it's a very pure, fast-absorbing protein. Good for post-workout.

Ah, I see. It looks like this one is mostly whey protein concentrate, so it's better for general purpose use - and in theory should be cheaper.

Unless you are lactose-intolerant, or getting ready for a bodybuilding comp, I think the isolates are overkill for most people.

Oh yea im in the Philippines and the GNC here that ive seen isnt stocking any ON gold standard. But in singapore I saw a GNC with ON and it was $86 nz.

Got some muscletech nitrotech on special with a free jay cutler 5lb whey blend. The nitrotech seems like a solid product, mixes well but has a slightly bitter taste. Wouldn't normally buy it as too expensive but with the freebie good value.

I don't know Philippines customs regulations and tariffs for food/dairy products.  Probably best to call them.  They're bound to have an english number you can call.

 

NB USD55 was my meaning so around NZD67.  Still 20 bucks under 85 though.
